Accountable Strategies Consulting provides management consulting, research and analysis, tailored to organizations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
ASC's services include report, newsletter, and grant writing and public and nonprofit policy research and public relations. In addition, ASC can help organizations implement strategic management plans and initiatives, troubleshoot projects, and improve governance.
David S. Kassel, principal of ASC, has many years of experience in governmental and political research, analysis, and assessment. He was formerly Chief of the Management Division of the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General, an independent state agency that prevents and detects waste, fraud, and abuse in governmental projects and programs. At the OIG, he was a lead researcher and co-author of several reports on governmental partnerships, contracting issues, and construction projects. David has also worked as a senior research analyst with the Massachusetts House Post Audit and Oversight Committee and as a journalist with daily newspapers in Connecticut and Massachusetts. David is currently researching and writing a book on public-sector project management as part of the American Society for Public Administration Series in Public Administration and Public Policy. The book, which will be published by Taylor and Francis Group, is due out in late 2009.
